Acanthoscurria geniculata
Acanthoscurria geniculata, or "white-knee tarantula", is a very beautiful large species.
She's actually always hungry, which is why she can appear very self-confident and bombarded quickly.
Acanthoscurria geniculata are very robust animals and forgive even beginners' mistakes.
Adult females reach a body length of up to 9cm and are a real eye-catcher.
The minimum dimensions of the terrarium should be 40x30x30cm. The substrate height should be 15cm and made of forest humus, as the animals like to dig extensively. Cork bark offers a good hiding place. A bowl to absorb water should not be missing.
